Lamar Odom gets 3 years' probation for DUI

Basketball star and Kardashian spouse Lamar Odom settled his drunken driving charge with a no contest plea Monday. Odom, 33, must serve 36 months' probation, attend three months of alcohol counseling and pay a total of $1,814 in fines and fees for the DUI charge, according to Los Angeles City Attorney spokesman Rob Wilcox. Frozen chills Hunger Games' lead at US box office

Disney animation Frozen has toppled Hunger Games: Catching Fire off the top of the US box office chart in its second week of release. According to early estimates, Frozen took $31.6m (£19.3m) over the weekend, with the Hunger Games sequel slipping to second place with $27m (£16.5m). Call it "Low Winter" one and done. AMC canceled the drama series "Low Winter Sun" after a single season, marking a rare freshman season axing at the network. British film culture test to change

The cultural test which determines whether a film can qualify as a British production is set to be changed under new legislation. Doctor Who beats Olympics ceremony on iPlayer requests

The 50th anniversary Doctor Who special has set a new iPlayer record for getting the most requests in 24 hours, 1.27m - beating the Olympic opening ceremony's previous high.
